Madeline Meade was born in Washington, Oklahoma on September, 29, 1916 to George Seaman and Dora Mae Hickman. Madeline graduated from Central State Normal School in Edmond, Oklahoma with a degree in Education after being crowned homecoming Queen in 1937. Madeline was a school teacher and also sold life insurance. She met Paul W. Meade in 1934 and they were married in 1935. Madeline worked in the accounting department of our agency until she retired in 1996. Madeline passed away in 2000.
Paul George Meade joined Paul W. Meade Insurance Agency, Inc. in 1960. For several decades, Paul was a leader in commercial insurance in Oklahoma. In 1990 he established his own independent agency. One of his greatest joys was coaching little league football, baseball, and wrestling. Paul was a member of the Oklahoma Air National Guard and followed the Oklahoma Sooner football program everywhere. Paul George passed away in 2015.
Paul Willard Meade was born November 26, 1917 to Cecil Dallas Meade and Harriett Mann in New Hampshire. Paul attended high school in Parsons, Kansas. He then graduated from Central State Normal School in Edmond, Oklahoma with a degree in Education in 1935. Paul served in the United States Navy during World War II until 1946. After the war, Paul worked at Katz Drugstore in downtown Oklahoma City. He began his career in insurance as a life insurance salesman for Security Mutual Life Insurance Company of Omaha. In 1946, Paul opened Paul W. Meade Insurance Agency, Inc. in downtown Oklahoma City.
